Lauren + Nate

Mini sessions have to be one of my favorite events of the year, if you want to call it an "event!" Fall truly brings out a happiness in everyone that you just don't see all year round. In addition to the beauty of the colors and the smell of pumpkin spice I get to capture some of the most amazing families included this amazing duo. Lauren and her son Nate I know personally but had never actually met Nate before this session. He is just as sweet, funny and warm as you see in his pictures! Lauren, you are one amazing mama!!!

Little Sami

Little Sami was long awaited as her mommy is a good friend and absolute delight. As soon as Suzanne became pregnant, I course hope she would have a little girl. Sure enough she did and she's truly just as beautiful and sweet as her mommy. Can't wait to watch her grow! Congrats Mike and Suzanne on your beautiful little lady ;)

Katie is 3 months!

When my husband an I moved to Fairfield 4.5 years ago we automatically knew we were getting a great deal on a beautiful home in Fairfield County. What we didn't know was that next door to us would be the most amazing neighbors any new couple buying a  house could ever ask for. The amount of love, kindness, and humbleness these two share is not easily found. So it goes without saying that this little girl will be loved more than you can ever imagine.  John and Kim it makes me so happy to be able to photograph this lovely lady as she grows! So many wonderful years to come... Love you all!

Delightful Miss Hannah

Oh it's true, Hannah, was such a delight to have in my studio. It's families like these that make my mornings and my week. Molly contacted me early on before she was due (which is highly recommended) and I just knew there was something special about this family. Having a good amount of time to plan for a newborn session is a big part of having a successful shoot. I think I was so excited for this little lady that I could've used 5 more props with her and I'm sure if it wasn't such hard work keeping them asleep and a lot of extra time her parents wouldn't have minded either. Hannah, I hope to see you and your beautiful family again in the future!

Horsing Around

Just a couple months ago, back in August, I had the pleasure of photographing my friends Emmalee and Stefan on their Wedding day. Upon meeting all of Emmalee's wedding party and family I was introduced to her mother. We hit it off right away, cracking jokes here and there before it quickly turned into a dual over who could get get the better shot throughout the day. Let's just say Annie was a great big inspiration, but I obviously won that contest.. wink, wink ;P Anyway, after speaking with Annie for a bit she showed me a beautiful heart that she had welded together from her horses old horseshoes! She told me about her horse and well from there you see is how I met Bentley... the newest man in my life.

Three Little Musketeers

Goodness what an adorable family! I must say that truly love meeting so many wonderful families. And of course as soon as mom walked through the door I thought to myself "how can one woman look this beautiful and have THREE boys?" Well, Beverely you have convinced me that you can still be completely sane and gorgeous while being the only female in the house with this many boys :) You could just tell how much they love each other and take care of one another. Can't wait to see you guys back!

Hello, Connor

Meet Connor, oh what amazing eyes he has! I just nearly melted... Not to mention his mom and dad were just as sweet as could be and so patient with these two! Dad had a few visions of his own, which I absolutely love and welcome in my sessions. I am as a much a photographer as I am a mother and a lover of all creative visions imaginable. And big brother? Well...I think we can all agree that Connor will be keeping him entertained for many years ahead! Congratulations to you all on your sweet little growing family :)

Little miss Paige

This gorgeous little lady came to me a bit older than most newborns when they are photographed, but that made no difference. She was a perfect angel and appeared to be quite cozy throughout the session! A true delight just like her mother who I had the pleasure working with a couple of years ago. I can't wait to watch this little one grow!

Graveyard Romance

For quite some time it has been somewhat of a dream of mine to do a glamorous with a touch of eerie styled photo shoot in a graveyard.  Not to mention I'm quite a big fan of Time Burton and his Corpse Bride, so Mr. Burton, I hope you approve. Also,  since I will be photographing Miss Sarah's wedding this time next year we both got together, two like minded artists, and began scheming and below is what we came out with.

By the way the groundskeeper at Evergreen Cemetery in New Haven, CT is quite adorable and was very understanding just how much I wanted tho make this dream a reality. Beautiful grounds by the way, and quite a lot of Connecticut "higher ups" sleeping in there...

Up, up, and away with love

What do you get when you cross a comedian, an art therapist, and a hedgehog? Well, look below and you'll find out.  I've been lucky enough to know Shannon since the beginning of graduate school and have admired her talent and colorful aura she is always emitting. I did not hesitate one bit when she asked me if I would shoot her and Eric's engagement session at a hot air balloon festival with their hedgehog! As soon as I met Eric and saw these two together I realized there's no better time and place for me to make this happen for them. Shannon and Eric, your playfulness, sense of humor, and unabashed love for one another will be the envy of many. Congratulations to you both and thank you for allowing me to capture these special moments!

A Festival of Love

Emmalee and Stefan's wedding day was as magical and colorful as anyone can dream. Set in a rustic campground surrounded by their family and friends, with the possibility of rain on the horizon, these two festival goers did not let a cloudy day ruin their "Festival of Love." From the endless amounts of handcrafted details to a ceremony space fit for Irish royalty, Emmalee and Stefan's special day will be forever remember and I'm honored to have been a part of it.
